So the world can be pretty fucked up at times. And for some odd reason I've always had a negative mental outlook on things. Ever since I discovered the Secret, I've been trying to grasp more and more the whole concept of creating your future and staying positive and having gratitude. Believe it or not, it's much harder to be positive about something then it is to be negative. Kind of like that saying it's easier to be bad then good.
I'm even proud to say that this past week has been the most consistent that I've ever been by trying my hardest to practice these things. I'm committed to being positive for a full thirty days and even beyond just to see for myself if I can see a difference. There has been three things that have happened this week that were so out of the blue that I give thanks to the Universe for blessing me. These are little things but I know bigger things are to come. At the end of the day the whole moral of the story is that I know the universe has my back no matter the situation or circumstance. It's going to look out for me.
1) I got tipped twenty dollars by one of the guest here at my part-time job at Signature Inn. It was so out of the blue and so unexpected but boy let me tell you, I felt so overwhelmed with gratitude.
2) My daughter has this day trip coming up with her Spanish Club. It only cost $25 but today she came home from school to let me know that I didn't have to pay. She was placed in a drawing along with five other students and they pulled her name so that right there was awesome itself.
3) The damn student loans from the evil Sally Mae aka Navient started garnishing my wages from my good job, Blue Cross and Blue Shield. 15% to be exact. When I seen my paycheck I was terribly pissed off. I called them and got them to lower the garnishment wages, enrolled into a Rehabiliation program that will allow the garnishing to completely stop in five months from now and I was also able to pick up shifts during the week at my second job. Another good thing about it too is that I have a book releasing on Monday. I got this strong urge to take a leap of faith, order my paperbacks and start slanging these books for real. That's something that I should have been doing since I am an author right? Well if any time was a good time, it's now.
That's just a little I wanted to share with you. I just feel like life is too short to be negative, mad, and speaking negativity into your life. That's why I'm trying to retrain my thoughts and be careful what I say which is easier said then done. I'm trying to be careful what I pay attention to and what I choose to entertain. But while I was looking for a pick me up last night to help get my mind off of bad thoughts, which reading the Secret always does it for me, I found some manifestation exercises online. One is called the Prosperity game. I'm pretty excited about this one and I'm going to make sure I do it every night I get a chance.
So to make a long story short, pretty much all your doing is pretending to receive a check in the mail every day for a certain amount of money.
So let's say tonight you get a check for a thousand, tomorrow it goes up to two thousand, the day after, three thousand and so forth. The moral of the whole thing is that you are suppose to spend that money on yourself. Every single dime. You write out what you are buying, and how much it costs until the whole money has been used up.
The whole point is to help you feel good about money and to let you stretch your limited ideas about money. It helps you feel like you can have unlimited money at your disposal and therefore you attract it into your life right?
Some may think it's stupid but I think it's neat and fun. I'm definitely going to start this tonight and will practice this every night. Just one more awesome thing to practice doing to help me feel like I am deserving of everything I want you know? There are rules to this ofcourse like you can't give money away at all unless it's for a charity that you are creating and you have to spend money to make sure it runs successfully or something like that. But I wanted to share it with you and I think you should google the Prosperity Game and get started if that's something you really want to do.
I’ve been wanting to get back into the gym but I haven’t had any energy to do that. That’s far from me because I’ve always been a gym goer. Always like to lift and do cardio. I guess you can say in-between me having my son and my youngest daughter I kind of strayed and boy does it show. And not only does it show but I can feel it too. So one day one of my real good friends, Ashley Gray, was telling me about this stuff she used called The Cleaner. She was on the 14 day one and was talking about how she lost weight and inches while she was on it. And since she’s been off, she hasn’t had the desires that she use to have anymore. Like wanting to drink Dr. Pepper and just eat random things. So I decided to order it. Not only did I get it but I brought the 7 day one to see if I would like it. Which when you read the directions it tells you that you have to only take the pills for 7 days at a time even if you are on the 14 day one. So either way it goes I’m good. Then I read the reviews.
