Well it's not really an anniversary. More like an excitement that I'm giving this blog thing one more go. And not just "one more go" but doing it the right way that I see fit. Not what somebody else sees fit. I want to share my journey of writing. My journey of my new love. My journey of my family. Just my journey period. Things that I loathe. Things that strikes me funny. What t.v. shows pissed me off. How proud I am of my daughters or son. Or even all three. I just want to share everything I find possible to share. So let me start with this.
One of the main things you need to know about me of course is that I am a writer. I am author signed to Racquel Williams. She has a list of amazing authors signed under her. They are all quite talented and I think you should check everybody out. But I have three titles out right now that you can find on Amazon. One title that is up for Pre-order and that will be available in all major bookstores come May 30th. So I'm super excited about that. Plus I have a book called Gemini that I wrote along side author Shaunta Kenerly and a standalone book that is with the editor right now. My three titles that are out right now are as follows:
The last title I just posted happens to be an anthology. It's three titles under one book. I wrote a story, Racquel Williams wrote one, and Tracie Lashay contributed one as well. It's a five star book for the most part and I'm pretty proud of the reviews we have received on it. Being an author has its moments. Sometimes you want to give up or even second guess the reasoning for even doing it in the first place. Writing has always been some type of release for me hands down. I love being able to control the characters, control the outcome, and being able to deliver whatever message that I'm choosing to deliver at the time being for that particular story. My characters bring me life. They really do and some of them I can't stand. But hey I created them you know? I also like to write in my journal. Have you ever heard of a book titled The Secret? If you ever read that book, (Which I highly recommend) make sure that you take heed of it. It's a life changer for me and I'm still trying to implement the things I've learned from it. But one thing I like to do is write in my journal about what I want as if I already have it. It's an awesome exercise that I'd recommend to ANYBODY.
The love of my life, the father of my youngest daughter, Muhammad Taylor. He's honestly my best friend. He truly cares for my best interest. You know when people tell you, once you come across that right person you just know. They weren't lying about that either. It took us a minute but we trying this thing out called love and I can honestly say when you get that feeling you don't have to look anymore, you honestly don't have to. Anyway that's just a little bit about me as of right now. I look forward to the topics ahead and hope you enjoy reading them as much as I like writing them.
I’ve been wanting to get back into the gym but I haven’t had any energy to do that. That’s far from me because I’ve always been a gym goer. Always like to lift and do cardio. I guess you can say in-between me having my son and my youngest daughter I kind of strayed and boy does it show. And not only does it show but I can feel it too. So one day one of my real good friends, Ashley Gray, was telling me about this stuff she used called The Cleaner. She was on the 14 day one and was talking about how she lost weight and inches while she was on it. And since she’s been off, she hasn’t had the desires that she use to have anymore. Like wanting to drink Dr. Pepper and just eat random things. So I decided to order it. Not only did I get it but I brought the 7 day one to see if I would like it. Which when you read the directions it tells you that you have to only take the pills for 7 days at a time even if you are on the 14 day one. So either way it goes I’m good. Then I read the reviews.
